MindLab International

Mind Lab has six different curricula to cover different age ranges and abilities and the weekly sessions are grouped into courses, which focus on different thinking skills, such as problem solving, resource management, planning and sequencing, and information analysis. The lessons are structured so that children are given the opportunity to learn new games and experiment with the learned strategies and thinking concepts in a fun and safe environment. Children's confidence and self-esteem quickly grows as they see their success and receive recognition for losing gracefully, good gamesmanship, helping others, integrity and successfully applying the strategies .

As a life coach, I know the value of learning new life skills to deal with the many situations life throws at us ... Mind Lab is just what we have been waiting for and a fantastic opportunity for children to learn these skills now.   Every child will benefit from Mind Lab.   Its aim is to provide a bag of tools they can use for the future and they have cleverly come up with the concept of using games as the medium to do this.
J. Lambert, Mind Lab teacher

At the end of each session, time is dedicated to exploring ways that the newly acquired thinking skills can be applied to real-life situations.

Children take home Mind Lab exercise books and are encouraged to discuss what they have learnt and play the games at home - such family interaction further enriches family life and often parents rediscover for themselves the great fun to be had playing games!
